About IDB

The Goole  Fields District Drainage Board sits between Old Goole and Swinefleet on the Southbank of the River Ouse and is predominately rural area. The boundary extends to 1,069 hectares and has 1 pumping station containing 2 pumps. The Board currently maintains 15.25km of watercourse with the District. To the south of the Boards district lies the Thorne Goole and Crowle Moors which is a SSSI of National Importance.
