| Each year the Board’s annual return is audited by an Auditor appointed by the Audit Commission. Any person interested has the opportunity to inspect and make copies of the Annual Return and all books, deeds, contracts, bills, vouchers and receipt etc. relating to them. For the year ended 31 March 2010 these documents will be available on reasonable notice on application. |

| NOTICE is hereby given that the Register of Electors for the above Drainage District will be open for inspection by persons interested at the office of the Drainage Board for the above named Drainage District at Denison House, Hexthorpe Road, Doncaster during normal office hours as from 21st May to 4th June 2010. AND further take notice that within the above mentioned period any person may claim to be registered as an elector or with a different number of votes or any person on the Register or any person who has made a claim to be registered as an elector may object to the registration of some other person whose name appears in the proposed register or to the number of votes allotted to him. |

| The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives a general right of access to all types of recorded information held by public authorities, sets out exemptions from that right and places a number of obligations on public authorities. An internal drainage board is deemed to be a public authority for the purposes of the Act. Any person who makes a request for information to a public authority must be informed whether the public authority holds the information and, subject to exemptions, be supplied with that information. The Lord Chancellor’s Department set January 2005 as the date this right comes into force.
To fulfil this requirement a Publication Scheme had been prepared for the board and was tabled at the last meeting.
The Sow & Penk IDB Public Information Scheme previously circulated to members, was formally approved by the Board.

| The audit of accounts for the Sow and Penk Internal Drainage Board for the year ended 31st March 2009 has been concluded. The annual return is available for inspection by any local government elector for the area of the Sow and Penk Internal Drainage Board on application. |
